Reading notes on the stave is the skill everything else in music theory sits on, and the only way to get fast is repetition. Note Ninja turns that repetition into a sixty-second game: a note appears, seven letter buttons wait underneath, and every correct tap extends the streak. Wrong answers cost you the streak, not the session — so students keep playing.
Settings switch between treble and bass clef and turn ledger lines on when the basics are solid. The cheat sheet is there for anyone who needs it; the gold coin — a perfect score with at least thirty correct in the minute — is there for anyone who doesn't. Results show score, accuracy and best streak, which makes it easy to run as a warm-up on the class projector or as five minutes of homework.
